Kári Sigurðsson

Kári Sigurðsson began working as bar-back at Faktory bar in 2011, but would soon go on to win championships and awards as a cocktail mixologist. Between 2011 and 2015 he worked at numerous bars and restaurants, constantly learning from others and honing his skill. In December 2015 Kári took part in opening Apotek Restaurant, serving as head bartender and helping with designing the bar, creating its theme and menu. Apotek went on to win Best Cocktail Bar in Reykjavík the following two years, and still holds the title today.Besides managing bars Kári also guides beer tours and cocktail crawls in Reykjavík.
