Business Iceland works to boost interest and demand for Icelandic talent, products and services and offers the business community various marketing and trade promotional services, including the organization of trade fairs and business delegations, in-depth consulting and market information.
Business Iceland administrates several marketing campaigns. The largest is Inspired by Iceland, a cooperative platform for stakeholders in Icelandic tourism and the government. The goal is to promote and market the destination Iceland and its products to consumers all year round (under the umbrella brand of Inspired by Iceland). Other major marketing initiatives include Seafood from Iceland, aimed to promote the quality and Icelandic origin of our seafood. Horses of Iceland; a marketing plan to increase awareness and strengthen the image of the Icelandic horse abroad; and The secret of Icelandic cod, intended to strengthen the market position for salted cod products from Iceland in key markets in Southern Europe.
