Björk Announces Four Live Concerts in Reykjavík this August!

The acclaimed Icelandic artist will be performing at Harpa in association with the City of Reykjavík and Iceland Airwaves.

Icelandic singer-songwriter, Björk, has announced four special concerts in August and September in association with the City of Reykjavík and Iceland Airwaves! The shows will take place in front of a live audience at Reykjavík’s Harpa Concert Hall, but viewers can also tune into the concerts from anywhere in the world via livestream! A portion of the proceeds from each ticket will benefit the Kvennaathvarfið women’s shelter, as well as women’s charities worldwide. 

Each concert will be unique and feature over 100 collaborations with Icelandic musicians who have played a role in Björk’s career. With a mix of traditional and electronic sounds, there’s sure to be something for everyone! 

The City of Reykjavík has long been known as a hub for music and creativity, and it is always looking to encourage further development of the music sector. The city is excited to participate in these events and is thrilled about the opportunity to showcase the vibrant and diverse music scene in Reykjavík!

The concerts will take place on August 29th, September 13th, 19th, and 28th. Live stream tickets are priced at $19 with bundle options available. 20% of proceeds will go towards charity, with extra charitable donation options available.
