Founded in 1969, the International Wine and Spirits Competition is the premier competition of its kind in the world, and the Vodka Trophy represents the ultimate recognition any Vodka can receive. Awarded by an international panel of more than 100 judges, comprising some of the most discerning and influential names in the business, the trophy is a testament to the quality of the liquid, produced in small batches in Borgarnes, Iceland.
“The 2011 IWSC win, awarded after a rigorous series of blind tastings against the top vodkas in the world, reflects the truly exceptional quality of Reyka Vodka as well as the care and dedication that goes into the production of this unique spirit. We’re thrilled to share the award and celebrate this honor in true Icelandic style,” said Jenny Logan, Senior Brand Manager, Reyka.
