Want to take a trip to Iceland? National Geographic Expeditions will offer a new small ship expedition planned for next year to circle Iceland in just over a week!
The cruise will kick off July 11, 2013 in Reykjavik, Iceland. This ten-day, eight-night sailing adventure will be on the Lindblad Expeditions’ 148 passenger National Geographic Explorer. While on the cruise, passengers will get to experience walking on lava fields and ice sheets, visiting hot springs and waterfalls, birding in the Arctic Circle, kayaking into fjords and serene bays, hiking along remote stretches of the Iceland coast, and much more.
Fares for the trip start at $7,990 per person, based on double occupancy and do not include airfare.
National Geographic will also offer several other small ship expeditions in 2013, including a 12-day trip from Iceland to Greenland.
