Blue Lagoon Safely Re-Opens!

Iceland’s famous Blue Lagoon is now open with limited hours for guests.

While Iceland awaits the official reopening of its borders to international visitors, Blue Lagoon is excited to announce that it is opening its doors for guests again at limited capacity. Now, visitors can experience the natural beauty and tranquility of the geothermal spa safely and responsibly while following COVID-19 guidelines.

On February 13, 2021, Blue Lagoon re-opened he Blue Lagoon, Lava Restaurant and Silica Hotel on Saturdays and Sundays. The Retreat Spa and Moss Restaurant will also be open on Saturdays. Additionally, the Retreat Hotel will reopen March 20, 2021, for weekends only (Saturday-Sunday). Additional information on opening hours can be found here

As opening hours will be limited, visitors are encouraged to book their visit in advance here. During this time, the Blue Lagoon shop in Reykjavik and online store will remain open for customers to continue to enjoy the Blue Lagoon line of skincare, hair treatment, and more.
